The tour begins in Lanjarón, famous for its mineral water and spa. The road continues in the direction of Orgiva with its 17th century Church and a library which houses the biggest collection of Don Quixote versions in the world. Travelling through chestnut and pine tree groves we come to Alpujarra Alta and Poqueira Ravine. A visit to Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira is strongly recommended. 20 minutes from Salobreña is the turn off for the Valley, where you will discover the fertile valley of Lecrín. From September to December walking through this countryside full of oranges and lemons is an incredible experience. The almond tree blossoming in late January and February is an explosion of beauty and colour that you must see with your own eyes.
