Salobrena Plans for those who love gastronomy at one of the most beautiful towns of the Mediterranean Sea
1. From Espetos to avocado salad
These are some of the choices you can find in Salobreña’s typical cuisine. Espetos are a speciality in restaurants and chiringuitos at the beach. Espetos are made with usually six sardines skewered and cooked over a pit of coal that uses to be on a small boat fireplace. It is such a recognizable image of the chiringuitos (beach restaurants) of the area.
Enjoying espetos, octopus or a tropical salad with avocados made in Salobreña, next to the crystal water and the sound of the waves is an experience you can’t miss.
Many restaurants are at the beach very close to the sand, others are all along the town and some others offer beautiful panoramic views of Salobreña.
2. Fusion cuisine with seasonal products
At this point, we propose to try a mixing of flavours and cultures that offer some refined restaurants that are placed in different privileged places.
Modern restaurants offering dishes influenced by different cultures, original gastronomic proposals, made of local seasonal products. Taste sirloin with boletus, green spouts salad with custard apple ice cream, langoustine jamaican jerk sautéed in the wok with wild rice.
