Shopping in Salobreña. Shops, markets, street markets and second hand markets.
Visit the town’s shops, markets and street markets for your shopping. There is a small selection of high quality products for all tastes. Walking along the Poets’ streets you will discover the town’s shopping quarter. On García Lorca and Antonio Machado streets you will find jewellers, decoration and gift shops, souvenir shops and shoe shops. On Avenida del Mediterraneo you will find the Town Market from Tuesday to Sunday with its offer of fresh fish, tropical fruit and other local products, flowers and other items. You will also find a range of shops specialising in clothes, shoes, gifts, jewellery, home decoration, wine, cheese, ham, bakery and other local products. (www.acesa.com).
Every Tuesday and Friday you can visit the open air street market next to the Town Market. From July to September you can enjoy a night-time market. It is located next to the La Fuente Park and you will find anything from seasonal clothing to gifts, traditional pottery or fresh fruit in its over 200 stalls.
If you wish to discover and recycle, we recommend a visit to the Eco-rastro with its second hand objects and antiques, which takes place every month in the La Fuente Park, close to the Seafront Promenade of Salobreña, or a visit to one of the town’s charity sales or antiques shops. Print in pdf format the Shopping Guide included in this section in advance of your trip. You will find it very helpful.
