You will be able to enjoy freshly caught fish and seafood, delicious tapas in the taverns of the historic centre, or savour the fusion of modern and traditional cuisine in the restaurants along the seafront promenade.
In summer, the beach bars on La Charca and La Guardia beaches are a must: nothing beats a paella or grilled sardine skewers by the sea. The cafes and bars in the old quarter offer terraces with views and a relaxed atmosphere, while the pubs along the promenade invite you to keep the night going with music and cocktails.
Throughout the year, a range of food-related activity programmes aimed at both residents and visitors lets you discover and taste the specialities of our region. Explore the Savour Salobrena programme and sign up for one of the workshops to learn how to cook local produce, or join the gastronomic events and food routes through Salobrena’s bars, taverns and restaurants.
