In addition, at our Tourist Office, you will find all the information you need about the town and the Costa Tropical: places to visit, activities, gastronomy, accommodation, excursions, and recommended experiences. You can also pick up brochures, maps, tourist publications, and resolve any questions about your trip.

Practical Traveler’s Guide
Car Rental
You can check the availability of rental vehicles directly at the Tourist Office. We work with local companies that deliver the cars in the town itself, so there is no need to travel elsewhere.
Banks
Open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Complaints and Claims
The Tourist Office and the Town Hall have official complaint forms and a Consumer Service that processes incidents related to tourist or commercial services.
Currency
The official currency is the euro (€). There are no exchange offices in Salobreña; banks only exchange currency for their own customers. It is recommended to bring euros from your country or exchange them at the airport. The use of credit or debit cards is widespread.
Accessibility
Most accommodations and establishments are accessible for people with reduced mobility. Salobreña Castle has a wheelchair-adapted route. Adapted taxis with a ramp are available.

Electricity
The electric current in Spain is 220V (50 Hz). Plugs are European-style, with two round pins.
