Ruta Arte Urbano

Every year in May, Salobreña hosts an international urban art meeting, which gives rise to a cultural route for discovering murals and artworks in public spaces across Salobreña, Lobres, and La Caleta. The tour is free of charge and open to all, perfect for walking in sections, combining art, neighborhood life, and viewpoints.

Many pieces incorporate social messages or evoke local history and traditions. To facilitate the journey, it is recommended to download the route map (via QR) and plan your visit by zone.

How to do the Route

  • Start in the center of Salobreña and then complete the murals in La Caleta and Lobres.
  • Allow 2-3 hours for Salobreña and 1-2 extra hours if you include Lobres and La Caleta.
  • Bring water and comfortable footwear: there are hills and cobblestone streets, especially in La Villa.
