How to Get to Salobreña
Getting to Salobreña is very easy. The town is strategically located between Granada and the Mediterranean coast, connected by modern motorways and well connected to the airports of Granada and Málaga.

Coming by Car?
The A-7 motorway (E-15) leaves you practically at the gates of the municipality. From Granada, the journey barely takes an hour, crossing mountain landscapes that lead to the sea. From Málaga, the coastal route offers stunning views of the Mediterranean.
Do you Prefer to Travel by Public Transport?
The intercity buses operated by ALSA connect Salobre?a with Granada, Motril, and M?laga several times a day, making it a comfortable option for those who prefer to leave the car at home. The bus station is located in the lower part of the town, with easy access to both the historic center and the beach area.
How to Get Around Salobreña
Once at your destination, getting around Salobre?a is part of the charm. The town is organized into two main areas: the upper part, with its historic center and Arab castle; and the lower part, which opens towards the beach and the coastal plain.
The urban bus connects both main centers, in addition to neighborhoods like La Caleta or La Guardia, allowing you to move comfortably without needing to take a car. The main stops are located in the Plaza Goya, the Town Hall and the Seafront Promenade, with a regular service throughout the day.
If, on the other hand, you prefer to drive, there are public parking spaces in the center and next to the beaches. The Municipal Market Parking, open 24/7, has spaces for all vehicles and for reduced mobility. During high season, parking is regulated by the blue zone in the busiest stretches of the seafront, while the rest of the year it is usually free and easy.
For groups or organized excursions, tourist coaches can drop off travelers near the historic center before parking in the authorized areas next to the N-340.
