How to Get Around Salobreña

Once at your destination, getting around Salobreña is part of the charm. The town is organized into two main areas: the upper part, with its historic center and Arab castle; and the lower part, which opens towards the beach and the coastal plain.

If, on the other hand, you prefer to drive, there are public parking spaces in the center and next to the beaches. The Municipal Market Parking, open 24/7, has spaces for all vehicles and for reduced mobility. During high season, parking is regulated by the blue zone in the busiest stretches of the seafront, while the rest of the year it is usually free and easy.
